Everytime Kimbo Slice does an interview, he defrosts a little bit more of my previously-cold attitude towards him, and his involvement in MMA.
My boy mk4 got that thawing process started, and Slice has kept it going with one respectful, insighful, and GENUINE interview and appearance after another.
I hope he fares well in TUF...Posted 2 months ago # -
well the good thing is ...i mean come on no matter what kimbo will be in the ufc...I mean the ufc would never pass up this kinda viewing numbers that kimbo brings in....once the ufc sees how many people watch the tuf 10 because of kimbo...theyll bring him in for a fight....im betting we see kimbo on the tuf finale card

kimbo vs. roy nelson for finale
Posted 2 months ago # -
i got brendan schaub vs roy nelson
Posted 2 months ago # -
yeah, me and my boy jcohl both want Kimbo to do well simply because the dude is taaking the high road and doing the things the right and honorable way, he has yet to talk crap about any guy on the TUF 10 cast even though they didn't give him a chance from the start. Roy Coors/Bud Light Kegger Nelson, i said it before if he thinks he's god's gift to TUF 10 then he should have no problem backing up his talk and taking the contract.

Maybe I'm not giving Nelson a square deal, but unless he's significanly improved from the fighter I saw lose to Ben Rothwell and Jeff Monson, and get KO'ed by the fast-deteriorating Andrei Arlovski, I can't feature him winning TUF.
And even if he does, I don't see him faring too well in the UFC's newly-energized HW division. Also, if we were to luck out and Kimbo Slice were to somehow draw and then KO Nelson, I think it would make for awesome TV if Kimbo were to ask a fallen Nelson as he stood over his corpulent body, "surprised now, Big Country?"
;)Posted 2 months ago # -
jcohl, He clearly beat jeff monson those judges where blind.... that was one of the worst descision ive ever seen in mma and im a monson fan..monson did not win that fight....and the arlonski fight roy nelson was destroying him on the ground untill a very controversiol standup because roy nelson was working the whole time and then they stood it up for no reason, had that standup not happened i really believe roy nelson would have tko'd arlovski or subbed him that round he was really working arlovski on the ground.......im not saying roy nelson will be the best hw if he gets into the ufc...but ill be willing to bet he can make it into the top ten hw's in the world when hes in the ufc....his standup isnt really that bad its pretty decent and probably better than alot of the guys on the show but he definitly is the best jui jitsu guy on the show and the most experienced right behind wes simms.........but heres my opinions for the best in the show in different catergorys imo
striking:
1.)james mcsweeny
2.)wes sims
3.)kimbo slicejui jitsu:
1.)roy nelson
2.)wes sims
3.)TBAwrestling:
wrestling im not even gonna try to decide who has the best wrestling, but if i had to try id go with1.)John Madsen
2.)zak jensen
3.)Justin WrenPosted 2 months ago # -
what about marcus jones under best wrestlers
Posted 2 months ago # -
i would but i dont know much about any of the football players so i just put the three guys with wrestling credentials in the top
Posted 2 months ago # -
The guys that I'm watching with intrest are the guys with the best "well rounded" games in the "house"
Roy Nelson,Justin Wren and Darrill Schoonover (who mind you is 10~0 all by sub or (t)ko)

thanks for the video fr702,
this season for sure will bring back the TUF aura and guarantee and 11th season that should be "The Ultimate Fighter-The Comeback 2" and should feature guys like:
Jason Mcdonald
Thales Leites
Houston Alexander
Rich Clementi
Josh Burkman
maybe more guys that i'm forgetting, but still Dana White should think about having the Comebacl 2 after this season it will be a good way to keep the TUF ball rolling IMOPosted 2 months ago # -
i'd also like to have andre gusmau and dean lister in there
Posted 2 months ago # -
Maybe bring back Arlovski for the Comback 2 also.....just kidding, but why not?
Posted 2 months ago # -
I wonder who will be in the first fight, hopefully we'll get to see Roy Coors-Light/Bud-Light/Budweiser/Heineken/Corona big kegger Nelson back up his "the difference between me and the other guys is that i'm a professional" talk. But either way i'm super excited for tonight, this is a super treat for us, first we get Fight Night then TUF, cool sh1t.

Serious flaws revealed already in some of the HWs.
- Marcus Jones / it's called cardio. Look into it, dude.
- Abe Wagner / its called takedown defense. Look into it, dude.
- Roy Nelson / its called knowing your place in the big picture. Buy a clue, dude.
- Jon Madsen / its called GnP because the P stands for pounding your opponent when he's down, not occasionally firing off a shot and then sucking wind for 90 seconds.
Also, check with Marcus Jones on the subject of cardio.
- Almost everyone in the house / Kimbo Slice, the guy from the streets you'd all like to wreck, is thus far showing more class and respect for this thing than anyone else.
Think about it.And finally, if you know you're going to be part of TUF, which is a national TV sensation, you might want to show up in halfway decent shape, and not be rocking man-boobs in the UFC training center...

jcohl, you left out a tampon for the **** on Wagner's head and just activity on the bottom, not just laying there.
Posted 2 months ago # -
^^Man that was one of the nastiest cuts Ive ever seen. Eastman, Pointon style.^^
Posted 2 months ago # -
did you guys see how that guy from team Rashad pretended to Tough Gloves and instead got the takedown like a little bi*ch? That wasn;t cool and a real man and fighter would not do something like that..that was some pu$$y sh1t if you ask me.
Rampage looks to not know what the he11 he's doing as a coach, should be an intertaining season though. I hope that Roy Nelson fights soon, i think he was humbled when Rampage didn't know who he was, he problably now realizes that he's not as important as he thought he was AND he was almost picked last.....now prove yourself Roy this is your chance.
Posted 2 months ago # -
Rashad's team looks better than Rampage's team, Rampage picked guys based on how big they are which was a dumb mistake i think
Posted 2 months ago # -
rampage is a horrible coach...we saw it on the last tuf he coached and we've already seen it now rampage is a bad coach...rashad is a great coach.....I really cant stand rampage already he'd rather have fun and throw temper tantrums than actually act like a grown up...rashad is gonna win there fight i have no doubt
Posted 2 months ago # -
the first fight was weak, and again i didn't likt the dude from team Rashad pretending to touch gloves and get a cheap takedown. Actions like that prove Mayweather and Bob Arum right about the sport, if you gesture that your gonna touch gloves than touch gloves and don't be a Bi*ch about it. I couldn't believe that Rampage put his fighter against a wrestler knowing his fighter had zero ground game, poor coaching which led to his fighter getting that super nasty cut.
Posted 2 months ago # -
Rampage's time in Japan has given him a false reality of what the MMA fan wants to see.
Posted 2 months ago # -
i'm a Rampage fan but the dude can't coach at all
