If anybody wants a good laugh watch the "hitler dedicated servers" video on youtube. Id post a link but im at work and cant hit up youtube without going through a proxy which messes up the link.
Its about how the PC version of mod 2 has lost dedicated servers, and people are pretty choked guess what buy an xbox or PS3.

So I've been playing the online for a couple of hours, and it is the same fast-paced insanity from CoD4 but with better graphics. The maps are kind of driving me batty because I don't know them yet, but c'est la vie (that is life). The maps are much much much more complex than the previous ones. Every map I've been in so far has had two or three different levels to keep your eyes on. You can tell a lot of hard work went into them and it shows. Haven't done any single player yet, though. Maybe tomorrow or something.

I just got it but im at work! AAAAAAH. To be honest, im a late fan of COD4, just barely played it half a year ago. Plus I suck. But add me anyhow! I can be the guy that distracts the opponent so you can get the kill! Haha

I'm more of a fighting game guy but since this game is unavoidable at the moment ima go pick up a copy this weekend to see what the hype is all about, but i'm more of a fighting game guy... Modern Warfare 2 looks super awesome though, i'm most looking forward to getting LEFT 4 DEAD 2, now that is a game i really can't wait to play!

So I'm typically a CoD junkie (old school CoD that is) and got Modern Warfare about 6 months after it came out and got CRUSHED online. Single player was sick, though a little short, but I got owned online. My problem was that as soon as I went online, I'm playing guys with better guns, better armor, better everything. It's not like Halo where you start playing guys in your ranking then as you get better, your opponents get better (no rank 15 playing rank 50 in Halo). Not so in the first Modern Warfare.
Is there a learning curve for online play in MW2? Are you thrown into the wolves like the last one, or are you put up against guys who get off on whoopin "newbs"?

Thrown To The Wolves! It sucks at first, but I don't care about my score (Kill/Death ratio) so it doesn't matter much to me. Also, I see it like this, if you are thrown to the wolves, you learn how to adapt pretty quickly. You may get killed alot but you'll soon find yourself killing people fast and more frequently. You know this! But I hear you, im at 7 and im fighting people at 40! I get massacred alot!

Diablo: There is a bit of a steep learning curve. The weapons seem to be pretty even. There aren't any uber-guns that I've found (around level 43). It is quite a slick game.

lex if u like shooting various creatures, melting peoples faces wit electric guns, about 100000000000000 differant kinds of guns, and a funny man named scooter who will sometimes send u on a mission to beat someone close to death who ruined his mamas lady parts then yes id say its worth it. im a lil **** cuz somehow my level 37 solider character got deleted so now i gotta catch up to my buddy on his 2nd playthrough so ive had to walk away from the game for awhile but i love the game. high replay value like i said me and my friend were on playthrough 2 and it was hard as ****. great game probly will neva stop playin it.

Fallout 3 was a phenomenal game, but it felt like Obsidian kind of cheaped out by using the Oblivion engine. The story was good (but make sure you get the Broken Steel add-on) but it felt a bit like a re-dressed Oblivion. And when your level gets into the 20's, it isn't really much of a challenge, but that's also common for a lot of games. The other difference (and to me what makes Borderlands better) is that Fallout 3 was strictly single, where Borderlands was designed to be co-op.

I've been playing the LEFT 4 DEAD 2 DEMO on xbox live, man that is going to be a super fun game, it's awesome getting to the last phase of the demo and then turning on the rest of the players and killing them haha, it's been awesome, i can't wait for the actual game to come out next week.

So let me just say say that this game is pretty amazing. The campain is short but oh so sweet the spec ops mode is fantastic and online is as deep and rewarding as ever. Anyone considering this game. In the words of Nike "just Do it"

ye bsbiz it does get pretty easy once you get into the twenty's and yes it is very simaler to oblivion with a completely different timeset obviously but i thought oblivion was one of the best games ever, but i'll definetly get boarder lands i didn't know it was co-op that sounds even better, fable 2 is another game like them thats co-op, really good game aswell
