I just caught Sportnet's MMA Connected and saw that Lashley was only 2 weeks too late from signing on with Strikeforce for their Nov. 7th card. He lamented that if it were not for his wrestling commitments, he would have fought, but has yet to finalize a deal with Stirkeforce for when/if he will fight next.
Just an editorial, but Lashly seemed to legitimately regret his commitments with TNA, but his fulfilment of said contract speaks volumes about his character.
On a side note, I met Lashley in Vegas this summer and he seemed excited about his jump to MMA but still did not downplay the power of his name in profesional wrestling. From what I got, he's a businessman first but truly wanted to succeed in the legitimate sport of MMA.
Also, GSP said that since neither he nor his friends are fighting on the Strikeforce: Fedor vs Rogers event, he will NOT be watching (really???!!!???)
GSP on Shogun vs Machida:
"I do believe Rua was supposed to win the fight"
Vera: "This is not a job anymore, this is my life"
