if forrest loses to tito whats next for him. a lot of speculation into a griffin/franklin fight but i think rich would win that. could the ufc deal with forrest possibly losing 4 fights in a row...?

Can Forrest deal if he lost four fights in a row, thats my concern.... When I met him a week or so ago (not that he was rude or anything he was as friendly as one could expect) but he had two black eyes and was very short in conversation, it was clear that he was training hard and seemed crazy focused... The thing is that there are people in the MMA world that think that Forrest won the first bout against Tito, so if he were to lose against someone who hasn't exactly been on a tear himself and also hasn't fought in a year and half (or whatever it is) I think that would be personally devastating to Forrest as man....
I don't expect much from Tito actually or him to come out and be the fighter that Forrest can't "control or handle", so I would be suprised if Forrest lost this bout.. This is a dangerous bout for Forrest emotionally, Tito if he loses will say his usual sthick " I fight for my fans, sorry I let you down" or whatever he has said after losing to Liddell, but if Jacob beats Forrest in a gnp manner I would be concerned about Griffin's mental state, I don't think his next fight would be against Franklin I actually would see (either win or lose) against Jardine but that is a different story all together

good point. where and how did u meet him? thats rlly cool

I met him in Las Vegas at the NACS/PEI show where there were about 21,000 (+) people attending, I said congrats on his marriage and asked him to kick Jacob's ****, he laughed and said "jacob ha", then we bulllshitted about nothing I told him I had to drive back to Cali, then he gave me some energy drink and said "this will help brother" and that was that.. O and his autograph said "To (my name)- Forrest" pretty simple huh, but he was a cool cat just looked tired and showed signs of Training...I also met Wanderlei and that was cool for me personally for I'm a huge Wanderlei fan, I bs'd with him for a bit, he says his face still hasn't healed and is sore super nice guy, in the pic we took together him and I are laughing cuz he is on his tippy toes kinda because I'm too tall, it was cool... Also I got to talk with "Stich" and he is cool, I told him I met him in Philly and he apologized for not remembering me, I laughed and told him I couldn't remember last month, he laughed.. "Stich" is a cool cat, but I enjoyed talking with Wanderlei the most actually...

This video Forrest looked a bit more like his old self, as opposed to a vid i saw a couple weeks back wherein Forrest looked like a soldier returning home from World War Z.
And as usual, fr702 is schmoozing with the stars, and making all the right contacts for when he announces his new position as Czar of all MMA...

GOOD POINT GUN!!!
I wanted to start a thread a week ago about who here at the frenzy maybe actual UFC or any MMA related fighters posting here..
Ex. Justin is actually Joe Rogan, Or Jchol is Goldie!! and so on.
Great Stuff Lorenzo Frank Fertida ohh I mean FR702 pssssss hehe (dont worry FR your secret is safe with me) hehehe
I agree with you thought Forrest is not gonna lose this fight. Tito aint ready for a hard pace painful 3 rd war with Forrest yet!! Even in some of the interviews I've seen he is already making excusses!!!

Me, Rogan.... no, don't do drugs...

hahahah Me Dana White, uhhhhh might have to ask Eric Shapiro about that but I'm going to say thank you and no I'am not.... I just look at things from a business perspective and attempt to look at things logically but whatever, I take that as a compliment, question how did I go from playing Golf with Coker (being all crazy pro Strikeforce) to being Dana "freakin" White, cool stuff

if forrest loses to tito, i fear we may see one of those in-octagon retirements.. and i dont hold it against him.. if thats the case, forrest always has the best respects from me...
IF that happens...

@ gunslinger - last week someone thought I was Dana Fu<king White, and now you think it's Scott Coker's golf buddy and number one fight guru, fr702?
;)@ fr702 - it may be possible that some of that "excerpt" I posted from your latest golf outing with Coker may have been conjectural...
:)@ onlytrue1 - Goldie?!
ACK!
If Dana and Rogan are taken, I'd rather me mistaken for the 360 than Goldberg...Posted 2 weeks ago # -
to be accused of being the 360 is the most noblest of honors to be bestowed... wish it was me......

thanks for the video fr702,
i'm work so i'll keep it brief:
- I think Forrest has a point about how people talk so easy whe they themselves are not in the fight, especially against a dude like Anderson Silva who's ran over all his opponents.
- He might still be fighting off some demons from that fight and honestly doesn't have to give us the real truth about how he feels because that's his personal busiiness
- if he loses to Tito i'll be very worried about his mental state because the dude is not all there mentally yet and another loss would really mess his emotional state up bad i think.
-Forees is NOT a coward for running out of the Octagon, he is a very emotional person and that's just the way he deals and that's fine, i persoanly can relate to him, everyone who calls him a coward is ignorant or problably a coward themselves because it takes a true heart of hearts to lose the way he did and still come back within just a few months to fight again so F-everyone who calls him a coward.
- I love Forrest but i'm rooting for Tito because he's arguably my favorite fighter ever but i wouldn't mind seeing Forrest get the win. That's all i got right now..

i can really see tito pulling this one off because it looks like tito is really taking mma seriously and more than ever....he seems to really want this and is training extremly hard......Im really thinking tito is gonna destroy forrest with GNP

Good stuff, mk4, and thanks for the vid, fr702.
A couple of things stood out at me, and the first is that Forrest is a pretty complicated guy, and not necessarily the knucklehead he sort of plays in some appearances. I'm sure this guy throws his whole life into every fight, and getting shut down by Silva the way he did is probably going to effect him long after his fight career is done.
Just my opinion there, its not like I'm a professional or anything.Second, Forrest is right when he waves off critics who call him a coward or whatever. So few people even get off of their sofas and run a mile in the park or watch what they eat, they can't possibly understand what it takes mentally, physcially, and emotionally to get into first fight shape, and then UFC fight shape, and finally UFC championship fight shape.
I'm sure if Anderson Silva had a problem with Forrest's early exit from 101, his mouthpuece Ed Soares would have mentioned it by now. To the best of my knowledge Soares hasn't said d!ck about the matter, so if by extension Silva is cool with it, everyone else should be as well. Finally, I agree that at this point of their careers Forrest needs the win at 106 more than Tito does. If Tito loses, he'll brush it off as cage rust and slow recovery from back surgery, and will sign for another fight with someone like Keith Jardine.
If Griffin loses, especially of he gets T/KO'ed, it'll hurt him mentally and emotionally a lot more than physically, and will probably have long lasting effects in his career moving forward. Lost in the shuffle will be the fact that Tito Ortiz, like him or loath him, was one of the best 205ers on the planet at an age when most of us are in college [or culinary school]. The length of Ortiz's title reign I believe exceed's Rashad's, Forrest's, and Rampage's COMBINED, so he shouldn't be written off so quickly by MMA cognoscenti.
Ortiz also has even to this day one of the most effective gNp skillsets in MMA.For this reason I'll be pulling for Forrest, although I'm glad to see Tito finishing out his career where it all started, in the UFC...

nice vid fr.
I can't really add anything that mk4 and jchol hasn't already said. Just that I'll be cheering for Forrest cause the guy deserves this win.
