vasya: no I don't train. A guy I work with trains and teaches Muay Thai at his brothers gym (small gym, can't think of the name right) and he used to grapple at Revolution and once brought some buddies with a video camera and apparently Newton and the owner were not fans of the "distraction".

Got ya !
Revolution is not bad place for training. Joel is a good businessman and very serious about what he is doing, with Newton's help they can do a lot and I can understand why they would be unhappy then somebody interrupt the training process.Posted 2 weeks ago # -
If i ever find the time to train and if i ever eventually get one more fight in(hope to do so), i'll do my best to try and post it here at Frenzy, but for now i got nothing, we have to wait till jcohl puts a hurtin on that fresh outta school kid and hopefulyl jcohl will have a video for us ;)

As it was mentioned earlier, I will say that the thought of posting some sort of video blog struck me as a very "Tito Ortiz" thing to do, so I opted not to.
However I have asked around about seeing if we can get my fight taped, and if that happens I'll hit up Justin H, fr702, and Kris for permission to post it, regardless of if I win or lose...Posted 2 weeks ago # -
jcohl,
dude don't worry i know and am positive your gonna come out on top dude, i can't wait to see the footage of you makeing that guy tap ;)

i can just see it now...jcohl slamming the crap outta this kid and then the kid turtles up and jcohl just starts dropping bombs and leaves the kid playing the three tap symphony

I don't think it would be lame at all...jcohl is "more-or-less" blogging to us about his upcoming fight through the Jcohl Project. I'm sold! I wanna see it!
I want to see Guns fight and vasya, too. I don't think it would be cheesy a video blog were geared to the MMA Frenzy people. Maybe that's just me. You guys keep giving us updates anyway...

@petterson
Thanks a lot ! Yes he loose in a first , first time in a 2 years , but it wasn't his category , he was only 9 years old and this category is from 10 - 12 . In last compaticion he took the gold already in this category, also the guy he fought with is really good as well his grand father is 9 degree black belt in Karate and his uncle is 2 place in World in 2009 and i would expect him to be future conteder , but it's to early to talk. The real compaticion starts after 12 years old when the sport categories beggin to count on the international level.

Gunslinger, garrule ; Thanks a lot guys.
I hope in Jan i will be proud of my self as well, for now i have competed in Karate only once and got silver in my debute in non sport devision. My next step is to have a gold , but it's a few good guys there and it's going to be uneasy work for me.Posted 2 weeks ago # -

@ jcohl
I don't think it's any needs for Vasya project or Vasya junior project. For my son I guess it's very simple. For the short term train hard, be better every day and get a medals again at US Open and Junior Olympics in April 2010
For a long term: don't loose pation in a sport, to be good person overall, qualify to the national team and be a good representative of your country and to be a Word Champion one day.For me it's more simple: In age of 35 I do not have any sport ambitions anymore, I just like to train and like to compete because of the adrenaline rash.
I have done my sport competitions long ago , I became 3 in Ukraine in Junior Judo competition, now I train for the love of the Karate and only one more thing I can add ,
I gone from karate hater to the huge karate supporter and enjoy every second when I step on the matt.Posted 1 week ago #
