LOL, "I curse you, THINNER"....Great movie by the way with one of the greatest endings ever.
Anyways, I've never fought and never really trained for any sport on a professional level, but I've always been active with hockey, getting owned at high school wrestling, more hockey, and then a bit of ball hockey in the summer. I've had mono, and it sucks the big one. ztlh123 hit the nail on the head; you can't do sh!t. And if anyone actually saw the Lesnar video at the Vikings game, the dude barely broke a smile and looked more out of it than Nate Diaz trying to get into a 24 hour gym. When you're sick with something more than the common cold, competing is impossible. I've gone out onto the ice under the weather, and I paid for it after my first shift. And that's hockey, not MMA. I can't necessarily relate, but sort of.
Now most of the frenzy probably knows I'm a Lesnar-aholic, so most of my commentaries are biased. So I'll keep it short: as MK4 pointed out, Lesnar loves to compete; it's what drives him. As someone who's followed his "career" post college, I can tell you that he's not one for excuses. Go watch that match vs Kurt Angle at Wrestlemania and tell me he's soft (yeah it's fake wrestling, but the bumps are real).
