even if he did tap which he didnt...it was due to strikes not a technical submission and that was luck that serra won anyways gsp didnt even train for that fight....he actually trained for this fight

fr...isnt it illegal to do that to copyrighted ufc material you cant just go through and change copyrighted tapes like that....im calling zuffa as we speak ;)

i was waiting for someone to mention that gsp tapped in that fight, it seems like the gsp fans forgot it happened. gun if gsp gets subbed by alves i get to pick your new avatar that you will use until the rematch, and if gsp subs thiago then you can pick mine that i will use until the rematch. FYI I will pick something horrible and possibly **** so if your not down its no biggie.

Well we both think that he is gonna get a beatdown. He just think's Cain's keys to victory are elusive striking and angles followed up by a submission later in the fight. Where as I think he needs to couture 101 him and tire him out completely to win a decision or get some late GNP. I cant wait.

Just as a Velasquez/Carwin follow-up, I had a friend of mine, who teaches Aikido to high schoolers out of a strip mall, tell me authoritatively that Velasquez was going to beat Carwin with leg kicks, and then a follow-up head kick to put him out.
He swears the key to beating Neanderthals like Carwin and Lesnar is to use the full range of kicks, starting with their legs and working your way up.The reasoning seems sound, but he didn't have a response or solution when I suggested, "well yeah, but after a few leg kicks if I had Carwin or Lesnar's skill-set I would just just time it out, and then shoot for a single or double, and then commence with the g-n-p, and repeat as necessary until the guy in the ring I wasn't beating on said, "ok, ok, thats enough of that"...

true ^^^^ because all shane carwin needs is about three inches of room and he can ko you...so for cain to win he has got to be perfect and make zero mistakes and i dont see that happening...hopefully he deoesnt try to rush carwin like he did kongo...because he's lucky kongo didnt ko him...and i think that fight proved that if carwin even lays one knickle on cain's chin its goodnight vernon white

Ya I'm not a fan of Kos (as a person) but hey that goes years back, people can change I guess but everytime I see him well..... ya not a fan, I'm not sure how Trigg is going to do against him, Trigg didn't look too good in his last bout imo, and stepping to the talented Kos coming off of that fight well isn't quite the same...

Alright guys, have a safe and happy UFC 100 (doesn't it feel like Christmas?!?!?). I'm heading to the airport in a few minutes, so unless the hotel has free wi fi this will be my last post. If anyone's in Vegas, we're at the Excalibur most likely at the poker tables or bar. Look for the pasty white guy with the Warrior logo hat, goatee and longish hair. And be sure to look for one of the thousands of huge Canadian flags when GSP comes out. Section 212 baby!!!! Anyways, I hope everyone has a great time as I blow all my hard earned money saved over the past 6 months.

well diablo if you see this before ufc 100...make sure you chant fedor as the undisputed hw champion is being interviewd by rogan...i hear there is a huge number of people planning on doing it...they had a huge meeting on sherdog the other day about it i heard......so everyone make sure you listen carefully durng thee interview..i hope dana gets flooded with fedor chants

Maybe we should wait until Fedor actually fights someone noteworthy or actually any damned good at MMA anymore before calling his name in public venues.
It's been what, 4 years since he's faced an opponent of MMA value and worth? Fedor had his chance at UFC glory, and could have faced Randy Couture like a man, but instead he let guys in suits tell him what to do, and has spent the last 46 months or so on an extended working vacation, paid for by his accomplishments at the beginning of the decade.I know I sort of promised dbiz I would leave the calling out of the semi-retired Fedor to him, but when I read stuff like sherdog coordinating his name being chanted at a UFC event where the HW champion actually defends his title against a legitimate contender, and not some UFC castoff or 7 foot mutant, its a bit much to take.
Should we all enjoy the event? Absolutely.

Lucky **** gets to go to UFC 100. I was at 97 home of one of the most boring main events in UFC history. Let me yell you it was still epic. Eldiablo is gonna have the time of his life.
