Some fights on the card can have a solid impact on each division and I for one, have my predictions to share with you all...</p> <p>Couture vs Nogueira- It's hard to call this one because IMO they're evenly matched where ever the fight goes. Randy can push the pace for 15 minutes and continually take nog down, but nog can take a lot of punishment and sub you from out of nowhere. I don't see any of these guys finishing on their feet. If I had 2 choose, i'd choose based on each fighters last fight and i'd go with couture by tko or ud. He performed a whole lot better and against a bigger and "badder" dude in brock.</p> <p>"The Natural" by tko or ud</p> <p>Jardine vs Silva</p> <p>I honestly don't understand what Jardine has done to be rewarded with a fight against Thiago silva. Jardine seems to always be in "big fights", but pretty much always loses, and in spectacular fashion. Silva on the other hand, wins in spectacular fashion. Silva hasn't fought the same "elite" competition that jardine has, BUT silva has only 1 loss on his record and it was to the current champ. If silva desides he's somehow a solid striker in this fight, then chances are Jardine will pick him apart and possibly tko him. Jardines stand up is better and that's where he's got the advantage. Silva's obvious forte, is the ground. He's a black belt in bjj and we've all seen what he does to his opponents when he takes them down. He quickly mounts and pounds you to sleep or you are forced to tap. His control on the mount position is unlike any other fighter in the UFC so Jardine better be on greg jackson's **** with the ground work. Both guys have a lot to lose and a lot to gain in this fight. Silva's overall game is better imo and silva is a much tougher fighter so i'm going to have to go with with<br /> Silva by t/ko.</p> <p>Maia vs Marquardt<br /> I don't know what else can be said about this fight and these two fighters. This fight would probably have never happened haden't silva moved up to embarass forrest. This is the way the fight is going to play out. Maia's gonna come out to shoot on nate and nate's going to come out expecting maia to shoot. It's a no brainer what advantages and disadvanteges these guys face in this match so i'm just gonna go ahead and say it. The fight goes to the ground, then maia wins and fights for the mw title. The fight stays standing, then nate wins by tko. Nate's not bad on the ground, he's just not maia. I know i know, he submitted jj ace jeremy horn and did it standing up. I love jeremy horn but with all due respect, jeremy horn was pretty much done and super overpowered in that fight. Maia is stronger than horn, fresher and in his prime. What happened in the horn fight will not happen in this fight. Soo i don't know dude, it could go either way. I hope maia wins because imo, he's earned it more than nate has.</p> <p>Vera cs Krystov<br /> I've always though vera was a sick fighter. He's got bad **** muay thai and good subs for a big guy. If he comes into this fight confident and lets it all go, then the very green imho "polish experiment" will have to come to terms with "the truth", "the truth" being, he isn't ready for the "big boys".</p> <p>Those are my pics.
